Conditions for Using Lexibar in Nexam
Lexibar can only be used during an exam if:
it is part of your accommodation plan, and
its use has been approved by your institution.
If these conditions are not met, Lexibar should not be used during your evaluation. Always confirm with your institution or coordinator before the exam.
What is Lexibar?
Lexibar is a word prediction and text-to-speech software. It can be used in Nexam if you have a valid license.
Before the assessment
Make sure Lexibar is installed on your computer.
If the use of Lexibar is included in your accommodation plan, inform the exam supervisor in advance.
Using Lexibar in Nexam
Open the Lexibar application on your device.
Activate Lexibar using the shortcut CTRL + Command + A.
Click inside the Nexam response area with your cursor.
To access Lexibar assistance, highlight the desired text with your cursor.
Lexibar will provide word suggestions and can read the selected text aloud to support you during writing.
