Why enable these permissions?
To ensure a smooth experience and comply with Nexam's proctoring requirements, your browser and system must allow access to your camera, microphone, and screen sharing. Without these permissions, an error may prevent your exam from starting.
Enable screen sharing during the exam
In Nexam, click the screen sharing button.
A window will prompt you to select what you want to share.
Click the "Entire screen" tab.
Click on the screen preview (it will be outlined in blue).
Click "Share".
Then activate the camera sharing button.
Once both screen and camera are shared, the instructions page will appear and you can begin the exam.
ℹ️ NOTE: Make sure to click the screen thumbnail so the "Share" button becomes active.
If an error message appears, refer to the sections below to configure system and browser permissions.
On macOS (Ventura 13 or newer)

Test your permissions
Use the "Validate my device" section on the Nexam platform to confirm:

Your microphone is detected
Your system allows screen sharing
These checks help ensure you meet all technical requirements before starting your exam.
