What happens after 365 days without activity?

The user account is automatically deactivated.

Why 13 months for written exam copies?

This period covers the grade review window and meets retention requirements for verification or post-exam audits. However, exam administrators may download individual or bulk copies before deletion, especially if their institution’s retention policy exceeds 13 months.

Why are technical test copies removed after only 30 days?

These tests generally have limited long-term value. Deleting them quickly helps reduce stored data and limits collected information.

Who has access to surveillance videos?

Only users authorized by the institution administering the exams in Nexam. This may include instructors, proctors, academic integrity officers, or approved Nexam surveillance staff.
