Overview of available features
During your evaluation, several tools are available to help you navigate and interact with the Nexam platform efficiently.
Document viewer
If your exam includes supplementary documents, they will appear in the viewer on the right side of the screen. You can resize this area by hovering over the dividing line and dragging it.
Note: Not all exams include documents in the viewer.
Key interface icons
Here are the main icons to know:
Three horizontal bars (☰): expand or collapse the left-hand menu
Bookmark icon: mark a question as To review
"i" icon: access exam instructions (Instructions)
Question mark (?): contact technical support
Door with arrow icon: quit and save your exam
Downward arrow icon: submit your exam
Key functionalities
1. Submitting the exam
You cannot submit your exam until all questions are answered. Unanswered questions are marked with an exclamation point (!).
Important: If the timer runs out, the exam will be submitted automatically.
2. Navigating between questions
You can:
Use the left-hand menu to jump directly to a specific question
Click “Next Question” to proceed to the following question
3. Timer and autosave
Once the exam begins, the timer runs continuously. Your answers are saved automatically, even if you leave the page temporarily.
Technical support during the exam
A virtual assistant named Nexia is available 24/7 to answer simple technical questions, guide you to platform features, or redirect you to helpful resources. If a Nexam support agent is available, you can request to chat with them directly within the conversation.
To access support: Click the "?" icon at the bottom left of your screen.
